What does AI search optimization cost for a real estate agent?
Updated August 31, 2026
There are three ways to pay for this: time, a retainer, or a platform, and most pricing in this market hides in "contact us." We publish ours, so let’s start with the other two honestly.
Doing it yourself costs time. The work is twenty or more question pages per market, each written, dated, marked up and refreshed when conditions change, plus a monthly measurement of whether AI cites you. Call it months of evenings to build and a standing commitment forever after. It is genuinely doable, and the doing is why 91.5% of agents have not done it. Agency AEO retainers, where you can get a number at all, run from several hundred to several thousand dollars a month, and many are general-purpose SEO shops that have never measured an AI citation.
DigiSnax’s pricing: $5,000 builds your platform, including up to four neighborhood authority pages and your own dashboard for listings and updates. Monthly optimization and stewardship are $350, which covers keeping content, dates and markup current, support, Listing Studio Portal access, and measuring your AI presence on a schedule. Additional neighborhoods are $2,000 each plus $50 a month, and we work with one agent per neighborhood, so a market we build for you is closed to your competitors.
Whatever you choose, compare two things. First, does the price include the ongoing updating, because a site that goes stale loses citations to whoever stays fresh, which makes the cheap one-time build the expensive option. Second, does anyone measure results, because a vendor who never shows you whether AI cites you is charging you for hope. And a caution that applies to us as much as anyone: nobody can guarantee citations. Walk away from anyone who guarantees outcomes.
The pricing breakdown is here and on the platform page, with no form between you and the numbers.
