What happened in the first two readings for one real estate group?
Updated October 24, 2026
The situation
A boutique real estate group serving five communities in the Chicago suburbs launched on the DigiSnax Real Estate AI Authority Platform at the end of June 2026: a page for each community that answers, with a date, the questions buyers and sellers ask about living there; a monthly housing market report for each community, written from public data and refreshed monthly (live since September); and listings the agent runs himself from his phone. DigiSnax keeps the pages current and measures, every month, whether AI tools are drawing on them.
The market, in the agent’s own circumstances: little to no heat, very few properties on the market and close to nothing new, the slower part of the year, and interest rates up again. This case study does not rest on business volume in a market like that. It rests on whether the agent’s site became part of the answer when people asked about his communities, which is what the platform is for and what comes first.
How we measure
We ask the kinds of questions buyers and sellers type before they choose an agent, about each of the agent’s communities and their housing markets, of AI tools that search the live web, asked from his own town, more than once each, on a schedule. Every answer and every source each answer cited is stored with its date. We report whether his site was among the sources an answer drew on, and separately whether his name appeared, as rates with a range. The questions asked in September were asked again in October, the same way, so a change between the two readings is a change in what the tools did. The method is on its own page.
The first reading, September 2026
Two months after launch.
| What the AI tools did | Reading of 2 September 2026 |
|---|---|
| Questions about living in his communities | His site was among the sources on a share of the answers, and held that seat in three of his five communities on most draws on more than one tool |
| Questions about his housing market | Not yet. Zero of the answers drew on his site |
| Questions asking who to hire in the region | His name appeared on a share of the answers on more than one tool. Reported beside the authority reading, never inside it, because it is a different contest |
| His own name | His site was the answer on every tool |

The second reading, October 2026
Three months after launch; one month after the market reports went live.
| What the AI tools did | Reading of 1 October 2026 |
|---|---|
| Questions about living in his communities | Held. The same share as September, and seats held again in three of his five communities on more than one tool |
| Questions about his housing market | Moved. Where September was zero, the tools read his pages as sources on a share of the answers and cited one. Reading is not citing; both are counted and both are reported |
| Questions asking who to hire in the region | His name appeared on a share of the answers, a little below September and inside the range |
| His own name | His site was the answer on every tool |

What Google showed
| Measure | August 2026 |
|---|---|
| Impressions | 2,617 |
| Question-shaped searches that reached the site | 28 distinct questions, 57 impressions; the most asked was whether one of the communities is a good place to live |

Business, stated plainly
In a market with very few properties and close to nothing new, the position the platform builds is the thing to measure; the business it brings is measured, from the site’s own form record, when the market gives it a chance.
Why it matters
The questions people ask about a community are now answered by AI before the click, and AI names its sources. Being among those sources, repeatedly, before anyone asks who to hire, is what makes an agent the local authority in the answer layer. Three months after launch this agent’s site is among the sources for the community questions in most of his communities, owns his own name everywhere, and in the second reading began to be read for the market questions where a month earlier it was absent. All of it was built for him: DigiSnax wrote the pages, dated them, kept them current, measured the result and reported it to him whether or not it flattered the work.
What comes next
The November reading is the first that can say whether October’s movement on the market questions holds, and its result will be added here whichever way it goes.
DigiSnax builds real estate websites engineered to be cited, and measures whether they are, every month, whichever way the reading goes. If you want to see what AI says about your market today, tell us your market and we will show you.
