Is my brokerage website enough to get me found in AI search?

Updated August 31, 2026

No, and the reason is structural rather than a matter of quality. A brokerage site promotes the brokerage: thousands of near-identical pages, one per agent, none of them an authority on any specific market. AI cites authorities, not directories, and a profile page with a headshot, a bio and a contact form answers no question anyone asks.

Your page on the brokerage domain also competes with every sibling page on that same domain, built from the same template, and you control none of it. You cannot add a page answering a question about your market, cannot set your own titles, cannot date or update content, and cannot add the structure AI reads. Everything that earns a citation is out of your hands on a brokerage site.

The brokerage site still does real work: brand credibility, listing syndication, compliance. Keep it. Just know it is not where citations land. In our own research, the sources AI cited for real transaction questions were individual real estate agents’ own websites, collectively ahead of the big portals, and the single most cited source was one agent’s own site. In DigiSnax’ research, not one brokerage profile page appeared.

For AI authority, you need a site you own: your own web address with question pages for the markets you serve, all dated and kept current. That is a site an AI can treat as the local authority. A profile in someone else’s directory never will be the authority.

This is what the DigiSnax Real Estate Authority Platform is for. Tell us your market and we’ll show you who AI cites there today.
